Girl Talk & Freeway f/ Waka Flocka Flame – Tolerated (NSFW)

“Tolerated” – from the upcoming Broken Ankles EP by Girl Talk & Freeway – makes me feel like I could could kick some ass. Unsurprisingly, that is exactly what happens for the duration of the song’s video from Maker Music. The violence is so over the top that it manages to side-step being nauseating, and for me it’s particularly hilarious because Gregg Gillis (aka Girl Talk) is one of the most polite and mild-mannered artists I’ve encountered over the years. Pump this jam and take up the whole sidewalk, but be sure to resist the urge to actually body slam the people you encounter on the way.

We recently featured a series of photos from Girl Talk’s Madison, WI show at the Alliant Energy Center Expo Hall on March 7th, 2011 over at our sister site, Date With the Night. Click either of the photos below to see all our photos from the show.

Girl Talk made a stop at Madison, Wisconsin’s Expo Hall at Alliant Energy Center on March 7th, 2011. Girl Talk (aka Gregg Gillis) has played Madison several times in the past, and oh, how Girl Talk has grown. What was once just a man playing his plastic-wrapped laptop on a card table is now a full-blown production, complete with huge LED screens, confetti cannons, and tons of inflatable objects. M|H took a couple of dance breaks to record some of the madness.

The audio often isn’t the best (especially on this last clip), but the cheap-o camera used isn’t really built for video-taking.
