Pegase – Old Idol
In Pegase‘s “Old Idol” video we start off with a kid half-stumbling out of a window, looking a bit dazed and then breaking into a run as he pulls his hood up. Is he abandoning a home invasion or running to something? The camera pans around and we see him break into a smile, and then we see the girl that sparked it. At this point the narrative seems like it’s going to go down the “teenagers in love sneaking out at night” path, but throughout the video there are subtle flashes (like the heaviness as they stand at the trailhead and the shadow of gravity on their faces upon seeing the truck) that point to something other than a clandestine night on the horizon.
